Yes, I actually did it. I wrote a WordPress Murder Mystery.
When a man is found dead in the Happiness Bar, it’s up to a small town sheriff Tanya Drake to master WordPress, comprehend GPL, delve into anonymity, and solve the crime before everyone flies home.
The town is made up, the people are made up, and while I hat tip to some of the well known WordPressians out there, I did not actually name any of you by name. If you think one of them might be you, it may be, but then again… maybe not.
This book is for sale, but it’s also non-DRM, and Creative Commons! Which means you can write fan fic about it and sell it. Because I am a generous writer. Go ahead and download for free, give it away, whatever. It was fun to do, and that’s pretty much the whole reason behind it. The price is set at $.99 (of which I get about $.66 per sale, just fyi) but all the coupons except the birds one works, so enjoy!
(Yes, the mystery is more goofy and hat-tipping than super deep and serious. It’s for fun.)
