I’m historically bad at this.
I often undervalue things because I’m not always sure what a price point should be. This happens not because I’m in a vacuum but because there’s not enough to compare my product to in order to establish a baseline.
Chris Lema says we under-price plugins and he’s right. So logically we underprice our books as well.
With that in mind, I’ll be raising the prices of my books from $7.99 to $9.99 in the coming days. I’ve been reading up on how much books cost and why and how valuing your work more gives a level of trust. People are more likely to trust you if the books are priced on par with the rest of the world.
The discounts I offer (PAYHALF for example) will mostly remain in place. I’m dropping the ones that no one uses. Don’t worry about them. You weren’t using them anyway.
