When a man is found dead in the Happiness Bar, it’s up to a small town sheriff Tanya Drake to master WordPress, comprehend GPL, delve into anonymity, and solve the crime before everyone flies home.
Set in a fictional town in mid-northern California, “Murder at WordCamp” draws on my experiences in the support forums and in plugin reviews. Some of the crazier posts people make, blowing situations out of proportion, always struck me as fertile ground for death.
While it’s certainly based in reality (and aspects of real events are drawn from), I don’t name any names. That said, I’m sure you’ll recognize some key players in WordCamps, themes, and plugins (though not me) as Sheriff Drake unravels the crime in her small town of Los Cielos.

Don’t worry! You’re allowed to do that. In fact, I encourage you to make a copy and give it away. If you were a lucky free recipient and came to this page, maybe you’ll consider tossing a few bucks as thanks my way. You don’t have to, but when you do, it pays for my hosting costs, which keeps me writing.
