The following comes from the makers of Waiting For Bob, a now defunct web comic. I’ve had a physical copy of this comic on my cube wall wherever I’ve worked for years. I will dread the day it dies.
They made a second comic called Broken By Design as part of the “online magazine” Web Review. Yes, it’s that old. This particular comic is called “Documentation Evolution” and it’s by Katrin Salyers, Doug Sheppard June 30, 2000. Ironically, it’s the only comic I can’t get to load from the wayback machine, and I recall it being a typo somewhere…
Anyway. I keep this because it’s a reminder every time I write documentation.
